25-27 March 2022: Murder Mystery Escondida Resort and Spa. PANIC AT THE DISCO. Is it Saturday Night Fever or something more sinister? A murder has taken place as everyone was dancing. Who was murdered, who killed them? It is up to you to find out who the criminal is, was it YOU?
April 2022: The Bluebonnets are in full bloom, mother nature in all her glory. Do not miss the wonderful Bluebonnet trails.
May 2022: It is the month to tell mothers how much they are needed and loved. Pamper mom with a Spa day at Escondida. Ask about our spa specials.
June 2022: It’s dad’s month. What is his favorite dessert, it will be made especially for him this month. Let us know his preference when making reservations. He can be pampered with a wonderful relaxing massage at our spa. Ask about our specials.
July: 8-10 : Murder Mystery Escondida Resort and Spa. By request, we will be holding another Murder Mystery. You will get the opportunity to solve a murder or maybe be the murderer!
August: 2022: National Cream Pie day and Ice Cream sandwich day are just two of the things celebrated in August. Let us know what your favorite pie is and we will make sure it is served during you visit. Ice Crem Sandwiches will be served.
Sept 2022: Couples month. Celebrate being together, relax on our outdoor patio overlooking the beautiful views of the Hill Country. Watch our wonderful herd of Mouflon Sheep graze right in front of you. Spend 2 nights with breakfast and dinner provided, pamper yourself at our spa. Ask about our specials.
Oct 2022: Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Month. Sample some of the local wine. Cheeses from all over the world and handmade Texan chocolates. We will have representatives coming in from local establishments to share their stories of the Hill Country.
Nov 2022: Escondida will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving dinner. All the foods your grandmother used to make. In the month of November all veterans will receive discounted prices on rooms and spa treatments.
December 2022: We will be finishing off this year with a MURDER MYSTERY. Someone has been murdered. Are you a suspect, victim or murderer??

May 27-29, 2022 – FREDERICKSBURG JAYCEES CRAWFISH FESTIVAL: Fredericksburg, at Downtown at Marktplatz (Market Square). 11a-Midnight. Serving up red beans and rice, boudin, gumbo, and, of course, crawfish. And for those who don’t like crawfish, the festival will offer hamburgers, corn dogs, and plenty of German sausage – what Fredericksburg is known for. Food and fun for all ages. Children’s area for kids of all ages and arts and crafts of all kinds. Plus a rock-climbing wall to challenge the young and the old. $5-$25.

26 – June 12 : 50th Annual Kerrville Folk Festival. The Kerrville Folk Festival, the Foundation’s flagship event, was founded by Rod Kennedy in 1972. It is the longest continuously running music festival in North America and is a Mecca in the songwriting community. For 18 straight days and nights, the Festival offers concerts and activities for all ages that are focused on nurturing and developing artistic expression, especially the art of songwriting. June 2-5, 2022 – HILL COUNTRY FILM FESTIVAL: Fredericksburg, at Fritztown Cinema, 2254 US-87 South. 1p. A four-day independent film festival presented by Hill Country Film Society. Includes a few international selections as well as Texas-made films. Open to the public, HCFF will screen 80+ short and feature length independent films, as well as host filmmaker Q&A sessions, panel discussions, festival parties, a VIP lounge and more. June 10-12, 2022 – BLANCO LAVENDER FESTIVAL: Blanco, at Courthouse Square. Blanco is the Lavender Capital of Texas and holds a great “Lavender Festival” each June with vendors, displays, tours & entertainment. The entire town the surrounding countryside will be bathed in lavender during the Festival. The Lavender Market, on the grounds of the historic Blanco County Courthouse, is always a must-see highlight of the festival. Selected vendors and artists from across the Hill Country offer lavender-related pleasures and treasures from the finest craftsmen. Features speakers in the courthouse on growing and using lavender, general horticulture, geology, and more; live music in nearby Bindseil Park; and Texas food, wine, and beer in the Texas Made tent.
